Boxing is one of the core Commonwealth sports, having featured in every Games since the first competition in Hamilton, Canada, in 1930. Scotland has won at least one boxing medal at every event, the only sport to have this impressive record. The achievements of Scotland’s Commonwealth boxers are recorded in the Commonwealth Games Scotland Archive, held at the University of Stirling. You can find out more about the history of boxing at the Commonwealth Games on the Team Scotland website.
